Param Pujya Dr. Kallayyajjanavaru is the current spiritual head of Shree Veereshwara Punyashrama, carrying forward the noble mission of his guru Pt. Dr. Puttaraj Gawai with extreme devotion. Born in 1944 in Dharwad district, he demonstrated a deep inclination toward spirituality and selfless service from a young age. Joining the ashram, he became a close disciple and assistant to Dr. Puttaraj Gawai, learning the administrative and spiritual ropes of the vast organization.
Social & Cultural Contributions
Assuming the spiritual presidency in 2010, Dr. Kallayyajjanavaru has successfully guided the ashram through the modern era. His primary focus remains the continuous operation of the 24/7 free dining hall (Annadana Seva) and maintaining the high standard of classical music training for visually impaired boys. Under his leadership, the trust's 14 schools, colleges, and hostels continue to provide completely free education and shelter to thousands of needy students.
