Sacred Place

Sri Veereshwar Punyashram, Gadag

A unique spiritual center nurturing music, literature, arts, and rendering food and shelter to the blind and orphan children.

Our Rishi Tradition

When talking about Indian culture, we must mention the Rishi tradition that has continuously flowed for thousands of years, representing a unique and pinnacle system in the world. From the Vedic era, details of Rishis and their Ashrams are documented.

Ashrams have worked for the all-round development of human society alongside imparting education in the Gurukula system. They have integrated with the public in religious, social, and political spheres, cleaning society and keeping up spiritual welfare. Ashrams have contributed heavily to spiritual peace, self-confidence, and bliss.

Threefold Seva Mission

Gadag Sri Veereshwar Punyashram has preserved Indian heritage through Gurukula education. Offering free education in music, literature, Sanskrit, Kannada, and Hindi along with free food, clothing, and shelter to blind, orphan, and poor children, it has shaped thousands of national-level musicians.
